A bit early, I will admit. But I am looking at race planning here. I call *dibs* on URINEO being December 18? I do not have to work that weekend. I am also planning on running 50 miles at URINEO and being the first female to do so. It will work nicely with my 100K race in January.

The current plan is calling for a post run Fest at the Log Cabin at 1:00 PM after the run.
All runners are encouraged to adjust their start time to ensure finishing around the 1:00 time frame.
The Log Cabin will be locked for most of the day, and then sometime around 1:00 the cabin will be opened for the Festival.
Everyone is encourged to bring something to share for the group.
A stove and electric outlets are available in the cabin.

Currently there are a handful of individuals starting at all different times of the morning, depending on pace and distance.
Myself I am undecided about my start time, but it will be at least by 5:00 AM, maybe earlier so I can get to the Fest earlier.
My goal for the day is 6 loops including Big Bear and the Lily Pond detour for every loop.

Depending on your distance goal for the day, you do not have to do Big Bear or the Lily Pond sections to get in a 50K, just the short YUTC loop around Lake Glacial and Cohasset.
In fact, it doesn't really matter what course you run, or even if you run at all.
You can even run roads if you want.
To be in the results though, you must at least run 1 loop of something to get your name on the list.

Any questions, please ask.

Is there an "official" starting time at the Log Cabin? Was it 7 am or 8 am?

I want to create an "event" on Facebook about URINEO, but want the correct info before I do it. :D Ok, I consulted the web page..7 am it is!

At this point I am going to start at 4:00 AM with Cam Baker.
Two reasons...
One is to make it to the Fest at a decent hour.
The other is because my friends at VHTRC adjusted the start of MMT to 4:00 AM also.
So the early start will be good training for that event.

Anyone who wants to join us are welcome to make the early start with us.
If you are interested in the wee hour tour of MCP, let me know and we will coordinate a group start.

The "official" start is 7AM.

I will be there to make sure the masses get off in the correct direction (TBD by ME) :)

I am not sure what time I will be starting maybe 4AM for sure 5:15ish, but will be back for the 7AM.

I plan on at least 50K.

For those that have done YUTC and not URINEO, biggest difference is no Lake Newport, so less pavement.

Thanks,

Bob

Barring the unforeseen, I should be there. Still ferreting out the decision between kms and miles...if miles, I will start with, or before the 4 am crowd...

Kimba is also reserving a spot at the 4:00 AM start.

Hey Mikey...
You don't need to have a distance goal, but do a timed event instead.
Start whenever, and then end your run on whatever loop you are on after 1:00.
