You would be hard pressed to make 50 miles in 6 hours on this course, but you could start early and/or run afterwards until you make 50.
Would be an extremely tough 50 miles.
Could always find a 50K and run extra.
Has been done many times by some of the NEO Trail members.
My preference is to start early and time your extra miles to end up at the start of the race, and then you have the support of the race to aid you on to the finish.
Could also look on this website to see what is available.http://realendurance.com/index.php?Calendar
BT50K is sold out.
That is the only local race that comes to mind.
There is one if West Virginia that Kimba has done.
Has tempted me more than once to head down and take part.http://www.iplayoutside.com/Events/?eid ... 12599.html
Also Cheat Mountain in WV.http://www.wvmtr.org/2009/12/11/cmmm-2010-entry/
Let me dig some more.
