Jeff, I throw you a bone and you are stuck in a rut.

Stuck in a rut? I thought I was on a roll.

If you are rolling then answer the question.

When will I toe the line for a 100? When I'm ready.

Fair answer.

But I will answer with this.
None of us were ready for a 100 before we did one.
There is no way to know what will happen and what you need to do to get ready until you are on the other side.
Ask anyone who has run one.

I don't plan on being 100% sure that I'll finish when I'm ready to toe the line. I'm signed up for the 100k at Oil Creek this Fall, so I'll decide depending on how I fare there.

Great point about not being sure you'll finish, as none of us are sure at any 100.
But you better have the mind set that you will do whatever it takes to get to the finish.

Good Luck at OC100K.
Will be pulling for you to get both loops in.

I've been wanting to run at OC since the inaugural race, so I'm looking forward to it! This is the first race in my life that I've worried more about actually finishing than my time.

:goodluck: with the 100, I'm sure I'll see you out there!

You train pretty well for events, Jeff, so I think you will be good. Train smart, and hard!
