Welcome to the first running of The Trilogy, a three day stage race through the Spruce Knob Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area….a run across West Virginia’s highest hill….a run of days with friends.
This very special run traverses the WV Highlands and her unique landscapes. The hearty runners that tackle this event will be rewarded with spectacular views of waterfalls, beautiful fall foliage, and breathtaking vistas that will be forever etched upon the heart. Race headquarters will be The Mountain Institute’s 400 acre outdoor education facility in the shadow of Spruce Knob. * Start Times; 50k on Friday 7:00am, 50 mile on Saturday 6:00am, HM on Sunday 9:00am.
* The time limt to complete the 50k is 9.5 hours. The time limit to complete the 50 mile is 14 hours. Relative cutoff times for appropriate aid stations will be forthcoming.
* While The Trilogy is a three race event, you may submit an entry for only one or two of the races.
