This brought back some of memories of the early days of developing the NEO Trail Club before it was NEO Trail. Enjoy.

I'd say I was pretty competitive at Laurel, especially the last 800 meters. 20th out of 93 ain't too shabby for a "road runner" :P

Stand out performance.

You just edged out a 16 year old, got dragged/pushed by your sister, only got chicked by 2 ladies, and then let an old man like me blow your doors off in the last mile.

Stick to the roads PUNK.

Since Slim popped the cork, I'll join in....

Not sure what 20/93 means: you realize that this was the slowest 50k field in event history and maybe the best conditions weather-wise. All the cool kids were going after 77 wood.

Maybe next year you'll graduate from the "kiddy-fun-run" and upgrade the big-kid race. The road section may be out (we hope) so you won't have a opportunity to show off you're superior road skills...

btw, not too worried about who beats me - girls/guys/ostriches, just my own personal effort. Very much appreciate my sister dragging me along, couldn't have done it without her. Slim, right now you could kick my ass any day in any ultra hands down.

Also, looks like if I would've ran this in past years I would've actually placed better looking at time alone (not weather).

I looked at the top 5 finisher times. Cool rule of thumb in RT this past month on adjusting times for heat. May need to apply that formula to see...

Too technical for me. I like to keep it simple.
