Anyone up for a "Gate 2 8x2" 50K on the Laurel Highlands Trail in early April?

I am off work and thinking either Thursday April 5 or Friday April 6. April 7 would also work for me.

Good Friday is Friday April 6.

Would like to have company and accountability out on trail.

I posted this also on FB, and got more responses. It seems like some folks may be up for a Saturday event, so I am going to run the G28X2 on Saturday, April 7.

Not sure of logistics yet. I might want to drive over to the area and spend Friday night, maybe at the Chalk Hill Lodge, start the 50K at sunrise. Run the 50K, then drive home.

I am NOT going to the Laurel Highlands on April 7.

Instead, I am going to attend Rob Powell's "Race Director Race" at Mohican on Sunday, April 8.

I need to stay closer to home next weekend, due to a convalescent dog and a new puppy arriving on Thursday. Ohiopyle is just too far away for a one day trip.
