Okay, what are the details-if any-for the Winter Buckeye Trail 50K FA?

I haven't done this in a few years, so I don't remember.

Park at Boston Store, run out to Pine Lane, back to BS, then follow BT out to the stables?

Start at 8 am? Saturday Jan 29.

I want to post something on the NEO TC Facebook Page, but I want to have any scanty details in order.

I am planning on coming up north for this. Who is in?

Jetfuelburner, if still around, may try to come over.

Coach Hanks and I are planning on heading up for this run.
We have not worked out any details yet.
Will probably rendezvous with you with whatever you work out.

We might be making an earlier start than 8:00 AM though.
Both of us are early birds.
Plus MMT starts at 4:00 AM, so we might be trying to get in some practice for that early of a start.

I will chat with Todd on Wednesday, and see if we can firm up something so we at least know what our options are.

Pepper and I are in! 6 AM, 8 AM, not sure - 4 AM, not a chance. We'll bring up the rear.

Be sure to post the trail directions if different than BT 50k.

Saturday, Jan 28th, right?

See you all there :beertoast:

Current "Plan" is an 8:00 AM group start at Boston Store.
Then we will head north and if we make it to the stables, then we will get water there.

Will probably be a wet muddy mess.
Should be a nice run.

Should be swampy. Ran in Brecksville today and all the creeks were fast-flowing. Bring your best mud traction.

Remind me to tell you about a new club challenge. I have a loop that would fit the bill for a rainy day. Or any day.

Just got done running Pine Lane to Boston Store...wow was it a mess. I can only imagine the other side is even worse. I suggest to bring scuba gear and decide now if you are going to caulk the wagons and float across, ford the river or just hire an Indian to help you. Should be a good time. I don't think I'll make the 8 AM start, but will probably be somewhere out that way for a run at some point. Have fun!

Very little ice where I was at. They're saying we could get half an inch of snow Saturday night though, so that with all the sitting water and colder temps could change things a bit.

Big plans, small Kahonas
Started at 3am with plans to meet group at 8 to finish 50K. Snowville road and back was enough. Tucked tail and took my numb feet home.
