NEO Trail Club

I am thinking of doing the L-T Challenge Saturday. Where is the best place to park for that? I am kind of familiar with the area (more so when on the trails.)

Okay, I've firmed up the idea. I plan on being on the Ledges Trail this Saturday, Aug 11, by 7am. Come by and run a loop or two with me.

Sounds interesting. Good chance I'll run a few loops. Ledges shelter where RWS starts would be a good spot to park. I'll probably park at Happy Days as it's the first lot I hit.

I completed the LT Challenge today in 7.57.

Great weather, the first cooler break in quite some time. It rained for about one hour, but the trees kept most of the rain off the trail. Rocks were not too slick. While the humidity was very high all day, the temperature was moderate. The rain kept most people off the trails too.

Kali Price ran about 15 loops with me. Mark Anson completed about ten loops, Brandon Russell did about 6 or 8 loops. Wild Bill was present for two loops before he left for a picnic. Dan Bellinger was present but too speedy. Barefoot Johnny was game for a loop, but he and Pepper had already done a few loops, and Pepper lay down on the trail and refused to go on.
