Hello, is this thing on? Just checking to see if anyone is out there. Not much chatter lately. Who's running what? Good luck to all Massunuts.

All I could think of when I saw your subject line was this below haha! We'll have to get more group runs organized at Mill Creek on the weekends. I've been doing some long runs there recently and realized how much I missed running in that park.

My friends and I are looking to come to Millcreek Park to do some trail running in hopes of doing the race in 2014. Which trails are the best for us? Over 50 females with some beginners mixed in.

Here is the map for YUTC

http://www.neotrail.org/yutc50Kcoursemap.html\

Just get out and have fun on these trails, tell us what you think.

As a note on YUTC day they are marked for the event, they are not marked any other time.

After you get an understanding of the actual course, its very easy to know where you are going. When its not marked it can be very easy to miss some key turns. Just enjoy your time on the dirt.

Bob

Sheryl, if you post the run on the forum or FB more than likely you will have others show up and then you might even get a personal tour of the trails at MCP.
Of you can do as Bob suggested and just show and and run and see if you can get lost and then find your back again.

Both are awesome ways to see the park.

A couple of my favorites are the Garden Cafe at the Rose Garden (top of the hill when standing at the YUT-C start line by the old log cabin) and Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe in Girard.
